The Ravenstone Part 2: The Twain, by Diane Solomon and Mark Carey

Hi All!

At last Mark and I have finished the sequel,  Part 2, of The Ravenstone, and it will be available next week. As a birthday present to myself!

Thanks to so many of you for writing to us requesting another adventure for Aidan and Nadia, or reviewing the book so kindly for us.

Here is a little about the next book, The Twain.

In the much anticipated sequel to “The Secret of Ninham Mountain,” Aidan and Nadia experience a terrifyingly real vision of a massive earthquake which threatens their mother’s life. The mission to save her grows in scope as they investigate, and their subsequent trips across time and space force them to face unimaginable dangers. They must rely on their growing skills and all the powerful magic of the Ravenstone in their urgent need to stop the disaster facing the earth.

Will they succeed? And at what cost?

Chick Lit Central features “88 Guys for Coffee”!

Our funny but tender women’s fiction novel, “88 Guys for Coffee,” is featured on Chick Lit Central!  So great…

They say:

“Contemporary chick lit at its best, 88 Guys for Coffee is hilarious and heartbreaking, soul-searching and spiritual, loosely based on the five-year online dating saga the author endured before meeting her husband on Match.”

RIP Glen Campbell

RIP Glen Campbell. He was such a wonderful, warm, funny, incredibly talented man. Feels like the end of a great era. He was so good to me, so kind, so generous, and singing with him was a true honor. My heart goes out to Kim and all his family.

From 1982, Glen Campbell & I sing “If You Were My Lady” on a British TV show. This duet was released as a single in Europe, South America, and Australia, and we performed it every night on Glen’s UK and European tour. Such an honor to sing with this unbelievably talented man.

What a GREAT book! I loved every page. I won the book in a Goodreads giveaway and was SO happy to be introduced to this great author. I’ll definitely add her to my favorites! I loved the title, the ending, and everything in-between! Easy to read (but hard to put down)… The title, description and other reviews give you lots, so I won’t repeat it all, but I will repeat — READ THIS, you won’t be disappointed!

Imagine that the love of your life has “moved on.” Imagine spending five years trying to find a good man – online! 88 Guys for Coffee is a funny, sad, all too real journey, and Laura is the character who won’t give up. She never changes her profile, yet she meets all kinds of guys, just for coffee.

Her true goal is to find a soulmate to come into her life and heal the loss of Kurt. She quickly analyzes the profile, deciding whether to send a wink or an email. The initial phone call is essential. If all looks well, there will be coffee. Laura’s best friend is Francesca, who appears from time to time, almost a guardian angel. Then there’s Hank, her friend. This is a book for people who seek love, who want to know what the on-line dating scene is like, or who eagerly read to see whether Laura finds a soulmate. Ms. Solomon knows Connecticut very well and it would be great to know more about her character, Laura. Diane L. Solomon tells a very good story, and I look forward to more stories from this new author.

Great review: Thank you Susan Hampson of Books From Dusk Till Dawn!

5 Stars! What a great review! “OMG this is just such an hilarious book. I know I shouldn’t find pleasure in someone else’s down falls, but at times I just had to stop reading because I couldn’t see any more, it was just so very funny.”   READ MORE
